 The
location of Can Vila allows the guests to do lots of activities
in the surrounding areas, such as nice walks and excursions
through fields and forests nearby or riding the mountain bikes
we have for the guests following the special route in front
of the house.
 Only
ten minutes away from the house, our guests might play golf
in the excelent fields of Golf
Girona, and they can also take part in the tournaments
which are organized there almost every weekend. Also ten minutes
away, the guests may ride horses, ponies or drive carriages
around the zone.
Not far away, there are also tennis and football fields,
and the lake of Banyoles or the Banyoles swimming club
will offer you the chance to practise water sports.
 The
region of El Pla de l'Estany, located in the heart of the province
of Girona, has good routes to the neighbouring regions, thus making
easier for the tourists to visit the most interesting places in
the province.
 Also
in the region of El Pla de l'Estany, we must not forget to visit
Banyoles, only 5 km. from the house, a town with one of
the largest lakes all over the country.
 The
region of El Gironès offers us the chance to visit museums,
monuments and lots of cultural places in the city of Girona:
the Cathedral, built in only one nave, the Jewish quarter,
la Rambla or la Devesa.
 Concerning
the region of La Garrotxa, 10 km away from Can Vila, we
should point out Besalú, a village with an amazing
Romanic bridge and narrow medieval streets. You might also visit
the volcanic zone of La Garrotxa and La Fageda d'en Jordà,
both of them 35 km away from the house.
 Also
35 km. from the house, the guests might also visit Camprodon,
a typical village of the Catalan Pyrenees.
Finally, the region of
l'Empordà will offer the guests the chance to enjoy
the Costa Brava, 30 km away from the house, a wonderful
seaside with high quality beaches, as well as the Dalí
museum, located in the town of Figueres.
